Hamilton® Versa-Tech® Wheel 6 x 2 - 5/8" Roller Bearing

This solid rubber wheel is molded of durable compounds designed for general purpose use. Constructed from a soft rubber tread permanently molded to a hard rubber core. Recommended for light loads where noise is a factor or floors are rough, but capacity is more limited.

This solid elastomer wheel is designed for medium to heavy duty loads. Steam cleanable and well suited for hostile environments, as they are not affected by blood, brine, salt, grease, oils and many other harsh chemicals.

Forging technology produces the ultimate tensile strength in industrial wheels. Coupled with solid billet design, it makes this forged wheel virtually indestructible. Consequently, load limits are governed by bearing capacity.

Running V-Groove wheels on inverted angle iron track is a popular and low-cost method of taking loads off the floor and creating production-line flow. A relief groove in the "V" assures proper weight distribution and makes wheel and track "self-cleaning", while a partial flat-tread permits rolling the wheels directly on floors as well.

A fiber filled phenolic resin, molded under extreme pressure, gives this wheel the ability to carry heavy loads without damaging floors in intermittent service. They are non-marking, resist corrosion from oil, water, grease and commonly used acids or solvents, and will not spark. Can be operated continuously in temperatures ranging from -50 to 260 degrees F and intermittently to 300 degrees F.
