Key Stock

Material is high quality, cold drawn steel. Precision Brand® Metric Keystock is used to accommodate metric keyways.

Made from 300 series stainless steel. Frequently used in food and marine applications. Size is clearly marked on each piece. Precision Brand® Stainless Steel Keystock is an excellent alternative to steel keystock when corrosion resistance is a concern.

Precision Brand® Ground Flat Stock is made from general purpose tool steel. Ideal material for tools, dies, punches, templates, stripper plates, and general precision machine parts. Pre-ground on all surfaces to close tolerances. An electric furnace melt tool steel. Fully spheroidized structure. An oil hardening tool steel that maintains high abrasion and wear resistance. It is ready for toolroom use and has excellent toughness and machinability characteristics.
