This vs-12dh disk holder fits alfa's gs-12 and is the component assembly that turns a vs-12 (vegetable-slicer) into a gs-12 (grater shredder). Once in place in a unit, a shredder plate will fit on this holder (see shredder plates, vs-12sd-3/16, vs-12sd-1/4, and other sizes). This unit is compatible with and will work in a hobart vs9 as well as alfa's gs-12 (but it may not work in other manufacturers' power attachment units).
