This microscope has two magnifications 20X and 50X so specimens of all sizes can be examined. This microscope also has adjustable-width eye tubes to make viewing by children comfortable. It is powered by 2 AA batteries so it can be used anywhere your child goes.

This kit includes 6 real 3D insect and arachnid specimens (Scorpion, Wasp, Spider, Ladybug, Beetle and Grasshopper) that are perfectly preserved in high quality resin for up close observation from any angles with stereo microscopes. Under a stereo microscope, you can see every little detail of the specimens. The colorful wings, the shiny shell, the joints, even the little hair on the legs will become so vivid!

The kit also comes with a digital eyepiece camera for your microscope. The eyepiece camera is lightweight and compact, making it a perfect companion to the microscope. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. With the ability to calibrate scales at multiple magnifications, the software can be used for multi-level inspection. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while simultaneously capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version of the software which can capture video and still images, and includes limited processing features.
