A check valve is commonly referred to as a non-return valve. The Atlantic Blowers check valve has two openings. One is for the air to flow through and the other is for air to exit. Forward air flow will not be blocked but the inner flaps will block reverse air flow. This protects the blower from sucking any liquids or solids back through the blower. The Atlantic Blowers filter monitor gauge is a device that if used correctly will show the user when the filter element must be changed. Filter Monitor Gauge measures the differential pressure drop across the filter, and gives a visual representation of whether the element needs to be changed.
