One drum lifter to do it all! Drum Lifter has self-adjusting tong-like action to lift a rimmed steel, plastic or fiber (cardboard) drum. The drum lifter automatically grips various common types of closed head drums. Lift a drum to or from four-drum pallets or rows of adjacent drums.
Drum Lifter handles:
- Steel or Plastic rimmed drum 18" to 26" (46 to 66 cm) diameter
- Typical plastic rimmed 30 to 55 gallon drum (114 to 208 liter drum)
- Fiber drum (cardboard drum) 18.5" to 23" ID (47 to 87.4 cm ID), 19" to 23.5" OD (48.3 to 59.7 cm OD) with lever-lock
- Steel salvage 85 gallon (322 liter) or overpack drum (NOT for use with Plastic Overpack Drums)
- Capacity: 1,000 Lb. (454 kg).
Each unit is load tested at the factory at 125% of rated capacity as per American National Standard ASME B30.20 and a load test certificate is enclosed with each unit.
