Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic diamond cut knurled knobs. Outside rim has been designed with a truncated diamond knurl that provides a comfortable grip, and exercises maximum torque under the worst working conditions without causing operator fatigue. The design of the fine diamond knurling simplifies grip adjustment of the knob during rapid rotation, thus providing the best control without requiring extreme angular adjustments of the hand and wrist. Elesa® original design technopolymer plastic domed gear lever knobs. EN 719.2 knobs are very often used in place of DIN 319 ball knobs on gear levers and shafts. They are often selected for ergonomical reasons. Press-on type knobs are mounted by driving them onto a gear lever shaft with a plastic hammer. A threaded shaft is not required. The shaft end should preferably be slightly rounded or chamfered (30°). Tapped type is temperature resistant up to 80°C (175°F). Press-on type is temperature resistant up to 50°C (120°F).
