This starter kit contains 10 prefilled tubes each of 0.1mm, 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm and 3.0mm diameter zirconium (ceramic) beads. Tubes are ready to use - beads are acid washed and heat treated and certified to be nuclease and protease free. Tubes are filled in a process tested by qPCR to be free of stray DNA. Suitable for use in most bead homogenizers including the BeadBug 3, BeadBug 6 and BeadBlaster 24.
It is for use in the BeadBlaster™ 96 and Requires use of the Microplate Adapter (IPD9600-96). Adapter can be placed in the freezer before use to keep samples cold during grinding.
The BeadBlaster™ 24 completely lyses, grinds and homogenizes a broad variety of biological samples. Even the most difficult and resistant samples are fully homogenized, often in 35 seconds or less. The stainless steel tube carrier subjects up to 24 samples to an optimized, high speed, 3D motion, producing high energy impacts between the samples and micro-beads to release cellular contents. After homogenization, samples can be centrifuged and the supernatant collected for further processing. Operating parameters for the BeadBlaster 24 are set and displayed digitally. To protect ...
The BenchMasher 400 Labaratory Paddle Blender comes with Incubation & UV Chamber Decon. The BenchMasher™ provides fast and effective mixing, ensuring consistent homogenization. It is ideal for preparation of samples were eliminating contamination is critical, such as pathogen and microbial detection in food and water filters. The BenchMasher also has applications anywhere larger solid samples need broken down or products such as powders and polymers need mixed. Samples up to 400ml are conveniently loaded in the sterile blender bags which are sealed upon closing the door. Mixing ...
The Scilogex D160 Homogenizer can rapidly homogenize, disperse, and emulsify samples in 0.1-50ml of liquid or 1-250ml depending on the generating probe. During operation, the suspended material is drawn into the core of the homogenizer by a rotor turning at up to 30,000rpm. The material is repeatedly cycled through narrow slits in the probe where it is rapidly sheared and disintegrated by high shear. Complete homogenization of tissues (muscle, liver, breast tissue, etc.) is usually achieved in a few seconds. Little, if any, heat is produced during the process.D160 Homogenizer Features: ...
