OPERATION HOMEFRONT Founded in 2002, in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit serving America's military families, with 90% of expenditures going directly to programs that help military families. Their Critical Financial Assistance program alone has fulfilled over 49,000 requests from military families and provides more than $32 million in financial assistance.
