Would these work for rubber-like flooring on gym floors? Would they scratch?

Hello Debbie, we do not recommend using this unit on rubber. However, we can indeed recommend the model G3I641399 Melamine Floor Pad that works great on rubber floors. For model G3I641399, it is recommended to use the machine on a low speed with a neutral cleaner, users who operate it will also need the cleaner to add slickness to the process otherwise there may be excess drag between the pad and floor. Will 261165gn work for scrubbing quarry tile w/o a problem?

This will work for that floor as long as it is for an unfinished quarry tile. For a smooth finish they should use the red pad.
