This tailgate salt spreader is constructed of rotationally molded double-wall polyethylene that requires no welded steel framework, ensuring years of trouble-free service. Low-profile design is designed for unobstructed rear view and is lightweight for higher load capacity. Heavy-duty 12V spreader motor is housed in a sealed motor chamber inside the hopper for extra weather protection. Easy to use adjustable flow-gate design. Material flow and spread width is adjustable from 3' to 30' using an in-cab electronic variable speed control panel. Salt spreader includes a concealed 80 lb. vibrator, molded-in hopper handles, and hinged lid with a self-latching handle. Attaches directly to your pickup truck bumper (includes universal stake pocket attachment) or via 2" hitch receiver mount (included) that allows the use of your existing Class III or IV hitch.
