Solid and comfortable

Your review: The first one I received did not have the seat plate in the box but Global Industries sent out a replacement right away.

Pros: I use this many times a day in my lab. Fortunately it is only for a few minutes at a time. It is solidly constructed.

Cons: Sitting on it for more than 30 minutes becomes a bit uncomfortable.

Great product

Your review: Bought the stool for playing music. It replaced a different stool I'd been using for years, and this new one is a total upgrade. It's lightweight, sturdy, and comfortable.

Guitar Stool

Your review: I got tired of the old chair I was using to sit in when I was playing my guitars. When I looked for a stool in the guitar magazines they were priced way to high. This stool has turned out better than I expected. It's a good height, well made and good and sturdy for when I rock out.

Pros: well made, swivels, good height, very sturdy and easy to put together.

So far so good

Your review: I purchased this for my workbench in our garage where I do electronics work like soldering, assembling and testing, as well as simple machinery work like drilling and cutting. I used to have only a regular height stool with which I had to keep looking up the bench top and the wall-hung PC monitor. This stool is a perfect buddy for me to keep staying comfortably at the bench for complicated work.

Pros: The rotating cushioned top is very comfortable and the good degree of swiveling reduces fatigue. Before I made a decision to buy this, I compared to an adjustable-height metal top stool, but I believe I made a good one for I would not need height adjustment or increased possibility of breaking the stool. Since my bench-front space is very limited I do not need wheels and actually it's safer to not have wheels.

Cons: Assembly was a little bit rough in a couple of places: 1) the hex-wrench driven screws are tough to tighten; 2) there are two kinds of screws with different lengths and washers that are not very well described which is to to go where in the assembly instructions.
