Your review: Heavy duty salt spreader that works well. I use them at all of my facilities to keep the side walks and driveways clear. You need to find the right type of salt for the spreader to work well. I have found that smaller rock salt or granulars work better.

Pros: Durable and easy to use

Cons: The agitator clip needs to be bigger. certain types of salt will get stuck and not spread

Salt Spreader

Your review: The tires made by Salty Dogg rims are junk. I cracked two of them and Global only covered one under warranty a year ago. Tires were not over inflated.

Pros: Good coverage for salt spreading and easy to use

Cons: Tire rims are junk. The 2nd set of replacements were not Salty Dogg by the way.

FANTASTIC

Your review: I was shocked at the prices when I started shopping for a salt spreader. I went to my local big box stores and they had junk. I went to my local landscape store and they had junk for top dollar. I ordered this spreader not sure what to expect. I love it. I love the price. I give it 5 stars. For price and quality. Love it.

Pros: Heavy duty and can tell its going to last for a very long time.

Cons: a bit confusing to assemble.

Heavy Duty Salt Spreader

Your review: We had been using heavy duty fertilizer spreaders in the past, but they would clog up so easily. This spreader is a beast and never clogs. Easy to push and manuver. Quickly covers a lot of area and well built.

Pros: Holds two bags of salt and easy to handle. Salts breaks up. Adjustable deflectors for throw path

Salt Spreader

Your review: Just purchased 2 of these units and they work great. The capacity of the hopper allows to cover more area in less time because we don't have to stop as much to refill with salt.

Pros: Big capacity hopper, Rubber tires make for easy mobility on snow and ice, ergonomic handle makes for less back strain while pushing the unit, adjustable spread pattern means less wasted salt.

Cons: none that I see at this time

Did not last long

Your review: We saved a few bucks by purchasing these, they lasted through Dec and most of Jan. They are not the best quality but they may work great for small operations. Not recommended for major snow removal companies.

Pros: They looked great out of the box and shipping was fast. Assembly was fast and easy. Price was great.(We purchased 6)

Cons: The valve stem separated from the inner tube on several units, the plastic feed control broke loose from the bottom and you can not fix this. The gears lock up frequently, the salt deflectors are always loose and moving around. The agitator pin rubs against the plastic on the bottom black plastic. The control often slips open allowing for product to come out.

ICE BUSTER

Your review: We have purchased >6 of these units in the past and I feel like these new ones have gone thrue and cost of material control process because these feel to be lighter weight such as thinner steal and also the handles have a slight twist in them because the holes pressed from manufacturing are not square. AND, the axle sprocket feels and sounds like it is going to lock up when in motion. The two pieces seem to be spaced apart a little differently. I purchased Ice buster because the last group of them lasted maybe 2 seasons and that is not bad for washing after use. I feel the gears will lock up on these new ones before I have corrosion issues. I gave 3 stars for the Price I paid.

Excellent spreader!

Your review: Purchased for city sidewalks that are shaded by condo building and constantly thaw and refreeze. Very sturdy, works great, much more even distribution of the ice melt. Walks seemed to stay clear longer. I ordered and it was here within 24 hours. Wow! I have already recommended to others.

Ice buster

Your review: Quality looks to be of good grade. Haven't used it yet so we don't know how the functionality is, yet. Like the anti-clogging grate at the bottom of the bucket to separate the salt is it enters the spreader area. We will see how it holds up.
